PROJECT MOBILITIES
Girona, Spain
Our first project mobility took place on February 6-12, 2022 at Institut Ermessenda de Girona, in Girona, Spain. It focused on expressing the topic of social inclusion by means of video. The partner schools had sent a video clip recorded by the students in their home countries in advance.
During the mobility, the students, divided into international groups, made videos in the streets of Girona and at or around the hosting school on the topic of social inclusion. The videos were presented in front of all the students and teachers at the end of the mobility and will be published on the project website. This was an exciting mobility even though it was still partially affected by the Covid pandemic. Here are some photos and a video taken during this mobility.

Istanbul, Turkey
Our second mobility was from March 27 to April 3, 2022 at Haci Hatice bayraktar Anadolu Lisesi in Istanbul, Turkey. It focused on social inclusion expressed through drawing.
Students from the partner schools were asked to draw a comic strip in advance and send it to the Turkish coordinator berore the mobility. The comic strips were later judged and voted for by the students and a winner was announced (Monika Lazurova from the Slovak school). A professional cartoonist gave a lecture about drawing and its power showing us examples of his work and helping students to draw during a practical workshop.
The students working in international groups had to draw pictures on the topic of social inclusion using various techniques and also being restricted in some ways (drawing with the mouth, being blindfolded, etc.) to feel what it's like to be a person with some physical disabilities.
Seeing the city of Istanbul was very interesting for the students and teachers and the whole 2nd mobility was a really interesting experience for all partner schools. Here are some photos and a video taken during this mobility.
Bardejov, Slovakia
Our 3rd project mobility was hosted by our school in Bardejov and took place on June 6-10, 2022. This time, the topic was photography. Students from the partner schools had taken photos in their home countries on the topic of social inclusion and sent them to the hosting school. They were then printed and displayed on a big notice board by the entrance of the hosting school. A voting by all the participating students for the best photo was done during the mobility and the winners from Spain and Turkey received a gift.
Just like during the previous mobilities, here, students were also divided into international teams in which they worked and took photos on the topic of social inclusion. We also had a lecture about the power of photography by a Slovak photographer called Anton Frič from Poprad and by an American photographer called Patricia D. Cordell. We also tried to connect the mobility with the topic of war in Ukraine as we have quite a lot of refugees in Slovakia from this country. It was therefore interesting to visit the centre of Ukrainian help in Poprad and have a debate in our school during the mobility with Ukrainians living in Bardejov.
The students' job was also to take photos in the streets of Bardejov on the topic of social inclusion and add Erasmus logos to them using a computer. The photos will be published in our school magazine and printed issues will be given to the partner schools during the next mobility in Poland. Here are some photos and videos from the mobility.
